This is what I can deduct from the last couple posts.

1. Assad left the Kurdish areas where PYD influence is significant pretty much without much resistance.
2. Assad is fighting the Kurds with heavy resistance in the places that the KNC is influential.

So, Assad is on good terms with the PYD, but not with the KNC? The two are supposed to be united, right? the lack of factual news is killing me, I mean which Kurdish group is actually fighting in Qamishlo? are the PYD fighters there too?

PYD and KNC run affairs together however KNC does not have an armed force of its own while PYD does. the 2000+ WK Peshmerga in KRG which belongs to KNC have not been sent in according to Barzani, i dont know what the deal is but i think they were suppose to be sent after the cities were liberated. the only city not liberated is Qamishlo.

A delegation from West Kurdistan Regional Representation for the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (Yekiti) to visit South Kurdistan Kurdish National Assembly.

The Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (Yekiti) commissioned a delegation of representatives to visit the headquarters of the Committee of the Kurdistan Region of the National Kurdish in Syria in Arbil, to congratulate the Kurdish people about the historic achievement for the leadership of Kurdish in western Kurdistan and reached the Houses, the KNC and the PYD for western Kurdistan to the Convention on the Hawler and the establishment of the Kurdish Supreme.

Kurdish Supreme emphasizes the peaceful revolutionary movement in Kurdistan Syria


The first meeting of the Kurdish Supreme was held between the two national and Kurdish people of western Kurdistan, in its first meeting held on Tuesday in the city of Qamishlo, its leadership for all activities and the work of both houses and that its decisions are binding on all.

According to twitter areas in qamishli are/were shelled. They say that the area around the airport has been shelled and people have heard huge explosions
