Why not.. .. Kurdistan from treaty of sevres.. Kurds can live side by side next to the Armenians

Turks can go to Turkey, Mongolia, Azerijbajan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, etc.. no problem.
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

last time i checked, a lot of your highlighted Armenia had a Kurdish population. so if the majority of some of these places you've called Armenia is Kurdish-shouldn't they be a part of KURDISTAN???

Let me ask you a question. Hypotherical question. Lets say over the years Mexicans move to California and now they are the majority in California. Should California become a part of Mexico?

its a tricky question and the answer could be yes or no. i do believe that Armenia should be bigger but for example, Van was kurdish the last time i checked. isnt it?so technically isnt it a part of Kurdistan??

I opened a topic about it some time ago "Northern Kurdistan or Western Armenia", my opinion is that we should still call this land historical western Armenia although its going to be a part of bigger Kurdistan one day. This is because there is no reversal possible of the deportations (most armenians lost their lives). There are also millions of kurds living there now, we cant change history.

Its a shame that we kurds were involved in the genocide and instead of fighting along with the armenians and arabs for independance we were helping the ottomans, the young turks and later Ataturk. We (future kurdish state) owe the refugees who are still living definately an apology and some compensation.

Yes, my Assyrian brother. Those lands were stolen from us. Just because those people stole and settled in those lands, doesn't mean the land belongs to them.

Furthermore, about Kirkuk... Those areas were also part of the Hurrian kingdom and have remained ethnically Kurdish since their settlement. The Kurds have a long history in those regions. The Arabs did not come to those regions until the Islamic conquests began and therefore it is unfair to say that it is part of Arab Iraq and not Southern Kurdistan.

This is a great point. So Kurds claim Kirkuk. Now Arabs live there. So you think this is Arab land now?

OK all right but this doesn't answer my question

How do you get it back?

Once you get it back how do you get rid of current ihabitants?

Once Western Armenia is empty of muslim animals, how do you populate it? Do you think that armenians of paris and Canada would move to Erzurum?

Armenians, Kurds and Assyrians all lived in these lands for thousands and thousands of years. As long as each nation is able to get some sort of sovereignty somewhere in their ancient lands, this should be enough. Hopefully, the three of us one day will live in peace side-by-side and we will be able to the share the lands our forefathers once shared with one another. However, right now only an Armenia exists, and we need to find the most feasible solution to gaining Kurdish and Assyrian independence before we start dividing and fighting for the land amongst one another.

A little personal analogy

I'm Breton. That's to say I come from Britanny, which once was an independant state (until 1532) and is now a part of France. I'm not happy with it, but what the hell.

The Breton people originally was chased from its land (the british island) by the Saxon invader in IV and V century A.D.

Does it mean that we, 4 millions Breton should ask the 60 000 000 english to go back to germany and give us back our land???????

HOW could you pretend annexing a land that does not contain a single armenian????

"Van is an armenian city": no its not!!! Yes it WAS. Is there a single armenian in Van? Did YOU go to Van??? Or to what you call "Western Armenia". I did. Didn't see one.

Danzig is not a german city, Alger is not French, Pristina is not Serb. Stop living in the past. Or maybe you want Ani to be the capital of Bigger Armenia?

With all due respect to Armenia (I don't say "your country", you obviously don't live there), Armenia is the asshole of Europe. Please don't dream of making it bigger. Armenians of Armenia dream of leaving it, the country is poor, nothing works, it is in a state of cold war with two of its neighbours...
This fucking "bigger armenia" is a sick dream. It has no basis in reality, in real world. It's as sick as "bigger serbia" or "pantouranism"....Anyway most people of Armenia don't care about that, they only think of a way to make their country get better...

I also think there is a difference between Kirkuk and Van...not exactly the same period is it?
Germany lost two wars, they are not talking of annexing Alsace Lorraine anymore!

Once Western Armenia is empty of muslim animals

Muslim anumals? May I ask what nationality are you?

Do you think that armenians of paris and Canada would move to Erzurum?

Of course not every Armenian, but I know a lot of Armenians would. There are a lot of diaspora Armenians who move back to Armenia. Some of them have never been Armenia. There is incredible growth of investments by diaspora Armenians in Armenia. For the past 2-3 years a lot of businessed and houses are being purchased in Armenia. I have no doubht that we can do the same thing in Wester Armenia. I currently live in Los Angeles and I am thinking of moving back to Armenia to buy a house, start a business and start a family there.
