"He continued, but with great regret by the Minister of Youth and Sports who announced that the Kurdistan flag raised his grief. We will not keep silent at all, especially from someone who has served as a minister in the Iraqi government, we as the kurdish nation will not allow one to waive the flag of Kurdistan.
The Minister says that we have violated the Iraqi constitution.
But we say that the Iraqi government has violated the whole constitution by not implementing many aritcles, for instance, the Article 140.
However, he said that the Minister of Youth and Sports has lost control of the Mind and self-control. We as a region of Kurdistan participated in this tournament by an official invitation with great regret we were waiting to receive the Iraqi Embassy to our delegation, but we found the opposite was fighting us by the Iraqi Embassy and we faced many problems by the Iraqi Embassy. A delegation from the Embassy should have visited us because we were outside the country. We do not have any problem doing that they will not visit us during our presence in Norway. But unfortunately, there have been many attempts in order not to wave the flag of Kurdistan in the tournament. But with our efforts, the Kurdistan flag was hoisted with the other 54 flags in the tournament with the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
During the day of the tournament, we were greeted by the Vice-President of the Norwegian Parliament.
At last, these attempts will not affect us negatively on the sport and fraternal relations with the officials of Sports Central. But in return, we will not allow any party to waive our knowledge and our land and we went to the tournament for the sport and not for the problems."
