The perfect kurdish lover...I'm not fan of this kind of music in any middle east country Of course his music is kurdish, but the main colour of it is "middle east pop", with sugar voice, love song and lover's eyes...

OH PLEASE - you are NO music expert and you have no idea WHAT Kurdish music is and WHY it is distinct from other Middle Eastern music... Sorry MACK - you ain't got it... Calling Zakarîa "Kurdish Tarkan" is a GREAT insult!

You should learn the meaning of a term called "ethnocentrism" and also while you are at it you migh wanna learn the opposite of it: "culturalrelativism"...

Learn Kurdish before you judge Kurdish music... You ARE aware that LANGUAGE/WORDS are a VITAL part of a SONG? :?

Well said. :D

Fatê has a lovely voice...

She isn't what I call beautiful but she looks rather typical... Nothing special about her looks...

She has some very beautiful songs - and she sings most of the traditional ones in a original way too!

I have a hard time getting hold of her music though - just heard a lot on TV... Nothing on CD or internet... I gotta look harder! :?

You're all mad. If I said "toilets were dirty when I was in Mossul" you're gonna tell I don't know anything about Kurdistan and that I'm ethnocentrist.

I DID NOT say that kurdish music was not different, don't be stupid. I know kurdish music very well, and hey I PLAY IT, I play Ney and Duduk and I did not wait for you to learn it. I was only speaking for Zakaria. If I want to say it sucks, it does not mean I don't know music. Fuck are you planning to create a musical dictature as well???? You're sick Diri.

Ummm... Funny how typical hypocrit French guys are... Wasn't YOU who said that WE should leave our emotions at the door when discussing POLITICS? And now YOU are getting all ANAL on me just because of a few WELL PLACED words... I hope you take them to you as constructive critisizim...

I don't care if you dance Kurdish, sing Kurdish or dream Kurdish - POINT is - you are BRETON man - you don't KNOW KNOW KNOW Kurdish music like a KURD does...

Talking about toilets is not talking anal :o

Even breton, it does not deprive me of the right to judge music ok? Of course you know it better, but saying that some guys sucks does not make me not knowing anything.
Music is subjective, it is not a science.

No - it isn't rockect science - but TAKE the advice... Escpecially when you INSULT Zakarî by calling him the "Kurdish Tarkan" - THAT is why I say you know little or nothing about Kurdish music... Just think about what you say next time...

Kurdish Tarkan was a joke, but I still think there is a common point. Not too much because of music, because of Zakaria's poster I saw in Erbil
