I am Anglo Indian and I live in England

I know many Kurds who have left England to fight and die for a FREE KURDISTAN

Over 7,000 Kurds from Syria have died, along with all the other THOUSANDS of Kurds who have died, as members of the PKK fighting for a FREE KURDISTAN

NOW might be the LAST CHANCE for YOU as Kurds have to tell the PKK what YOU want to happen


Also if YOU have any ideas on how to gain support for Kurds - local support - international support - PLEASE post them HERE

Dissolve themselves and form a new political movement for a non violent 'Kurdish Spring' would be the best thing now in Turkey. Northern Kurds need real politicians and activists, not a prehistoric guerrilla with commanders who stay in their mountains since 30 years.

And stop to follow blindly ONE movement ONE party ONE leader. Even S. Kurdistan has 3 big parties and many others (W. Kurdistan and its 20 parties is a joke).

They can't have their independence with weapons, because since 1999, because of Öcalan, war is lost (even if Turkey did not win). They could gain it with a salami strategy, step by step, and BDP should claim Kurd's rights and not only Öcalan's desiderata.

But it is not easy. N. Kurds depends on PKK's decisions (and PKK is far from the realities of a civil society) or they vote AKP because they dislike the PKK.

In fact they need a new party but where are the new leaders ?

They are currently negotiating with the turkish government about an peace plan. There is not much to do...

I'm not saying I trust the turkish government but I think they should keep negotiating and we'll see what happens. At the moment Peshmerga are cooperating with the PKK. Representants from both the BDP and PKK have met with Barzani so they are cooperating with their southern kurdish brothers, which is very positive so we have no reason to mistrust the PKK at the moment. All that I had learnt, heard of or read within the last few days is of the PKK's surrender. I have not seen anything that gives any benefits to the Kurds of NK or the PKK freedom fighters
