For example the 4th (the Madness of Youth) is made with Mountain (immobilization) on Water (deep, bottomless).

OH now I understand 8-}

How long did it take you to learn I Ching?

I suppose I will have to read the book ;)

I learnt 10 years ago and during many times I practiced every day. I began with coins and last year I used the sticks.

For a beginner, cards could be a good way for an approach, but if you continue, you will want a set of coins and a complete books, with all the informations on each lines.

As far as I am concern, now I use it less. I need the aspiration of something new, I don't know what. Perhaps a new game will come by itself in my hands (as I Ching replaced Tarots, at the end) ; sometimes I wish to become myself an oracle, got the inner answers in my own meditation… not easy. L-)

A bit, not much, I have just a bag of small runes and a very basic booklet. I am sure it is more complex than it seems.

So, I called … and I don't know if I play good or bad. Perhaps a bit trampling more than advancing. :-s

Took a rune randomly and it is PERTHRO. Don't know what it means but sounds a bit scary.

Yesterday, waited for the man who had to come for repairing my heater and allowing me to reopen the gas. Did not come, without explanation.

At the contrary, the masons who make an infernal noise under my windows at 8 am are always in time.

That's my class struggle against proletariat. :ymdevil:

Well I don't know. When you are all the time in a place you don't see it with the eyes of a foreigner… but sun or rain, we have thousands of tourists there, all the year. So I suppose they find it romantic.

I think that the most beautiful city in Europe is… Istanbul. :D

I am working on the bibliography and the introduction of Mela Mehmûd Beyazîdî's book about Kurd's habits and customs.

From all I've translated of Khanî, Cîzîrî, Beyazîdî, I can say that these Kurdish religious scholars were so open-minded and kind guys, and Kurds should be proud of them : their islam was so more enlightened and humanist than these modern salafist-wahabi- followers…

I believe that the original Kurdish version of Islam also took on board some of the Kurdish culture and even some of the Zoroastrian beliefs :D

Islam, at it's inception, was aimed at helping people with their many schools and universities. Mosques had soup kitchens to feed the poor and hungry long before anyone, including Christians, ever bothered :D

Really if some so-called modern Kurdish mollah listened to what Sheikh Khanki or Mollah Mahmud had to say about young Kurdish lovers or what Kurdish youth were allowed to do each others, they would lapidate them ! :))
