TheKurdistani just uses news of Radio nawa and other Kurdish newspapers/sources. They almost never make their own news reports.. so then you have to say that Radionawa is not trustable.. or in this case kurdistanpost.

But TheKurdistani tends to exaggerate their news and I am not jealous.

The charges for which Kamal Sayyid Qadir had been arrested and judged are not “insult and defamation”, as it had been published, especially by Amnesty International, but no more less than “espionage and plot against the safety and security of state”. Then a warrant had been issued for Kamal Sayyid Qadir’s arrest, and the Kurdish police seized him and he came in Kurdistan.

let's see the evidence of espionage and plotting against the state. which state, by the way?

these charges are bullshit. i know bashuri who have been warned about continuing their writings which are critical of the parties and here we see that there is a reason for concern over such warnings.

where did the parties pick up this behavior if not from the ba'ath, the kemalists and the mullahs?

after coming so far, is this how the adventure will end? with the substitution of two saddams for one? is this what so many have died for? is this what so many have sacrificed for?

there has been much positive development in south kurdistan in many areas, and much of that can be attributed to the two main parties. i suppose that is why this farce of "judicial" proceedings (in secret) and a so-called "investigation" (in secret) is so crushingly disappointing.

a lot of kdp's members are old ba'athist so for cheryl to compare them is not surprising

and thekurdistani does not make up news it always has sources or referrs to other sites.

and there have been many killed in the streets for trying to speak up against barzani and kdp. dr kamal was one of the lucky ones due to the media coverage on his case

Is this possible? I find it hard to believe that any KRG official (let alone the Minister of Human Rights) would say that one of their prisoners should "rot in jail". Kurdistani.com should have perhaps checked the validity of this news before they published it. Seems like an excessive number of their recent reports have been none other than negatives for the KRG.

Go on to their news archive and show us ONE ARTICLE that was published and it wasn't true.

Well, I cannot prove anything to you but I this recent news report is just not believable. What was the source of this news? Just Dr. Kamal's sister? And was it verified with another source? Don't get so upset London007. Why is it that you only come onto this forum whenever we question theKurdistani? I just feel that if theKurdistani wishes to focus it's efforts on publishing articles, which negatively affect the KRG or any organization or government, they should make sure that their news is credible and they should refrain from publishing news that does not seem to hold much merit. Plus...if it is so reliable then perhaps there is no need to defend it the way you do.
