22 July

It is raining :D

Not a lot - not the heavy thunderstorm we were expecting - not sure that it will be enough to prevent any more fires - back to the beach tomorrow :o)

I missed the big event of the day - no not the Royal baby:

"International Pick on Piling Day"

I thought it extremely disrespectful - it appears that some people - who may or may not be Kurds (why would a Kurd want to disrupt a Kurdish forum) come to this forum purely to disrupt it - they offer NOTHING constructive - they just insult and argue - it is time parents took more responsibility for what their children do online X(

Don't worry, such people have no importance. As we say in French : 'Chien qui aboie ne mord pas'

So I lost my bet : that's a boy. Now what about the name ? Edward, Richard, Charles, Henry ? Or a new original unusual name for a King ?

You have much more patience with disrespectful, unruly, ignorant, rude children than I do X(

You should ignore them totally and not bother to try to indulge in any form of intelligent coherent discourse with any of them - it really is not worth the effort - though I am not sure that they should be allowed to make fools of themselves on this forum - it demeans the entire forum - too much effort has gone into keeping this forum going for more than 8 years - to allow a handful of idiots to bring this forum into disrepute

Some of the people attacking you, Dyaoko, I and this forum - appear to be totally ignorant to the fact that this forum - while being to a vast extent independent - has to conform with the international guideline laid down by the actual suppliers of this software - several of the recent visitors to this forum have broken those guidelines

The people who are so against this forum do not deserve to have access to it and should be assisted in leaving it :ymdevil:

Still think it will be James or George :o)

James it is then - now we will have to wait and see - though I still have a feeling towards George :D

Whatever the baby is named - one thing is certain - it is going to become the most popular boys name in the world :ymparty:

Yep. Royail babies are popular while Presidents' are not. When Nicolas Sakozy's daughter is born, all that we had to say is : 'If God is kind she won't look like her father'. :D

BBC News

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have spent their first night at home with their new son, whose name they have yet to decide upon.

The third in line to the throne and his parents emerged from St Mary's Hospital in west London on Tuesday evening.

Speaking outside the hospital, the duke said they were "working on a name" and would choose one "as soon as we can".

They described becoming parents as "very emotional", before the duke drove his family home to Kensington Palace.

Although the couple have yet to decide on a name it is known that the newest royal will be styled HRH Prince (name) of Cambridge.

George is the bookmakers' favourite for the first name of the prince, who is destined to be king one day. James and Alexander are among other names on a short price.

Anthea: No point in my placing a bet the odds are too short - seems that I am not the only person who thinks he will either be called George or James :o)

'Wait and see'

The prospect of him being named after his father has been virtually written off by the bookmakers, with both Ladbrokes and Paddy Power rating William as a 50/1 shot.

Asked by the BBC's royal correspondent Peter Hunt if the baby had already been named George, Prince William replied: "Wait and see, Peter, wait and see."

Royal fans waited seven days before the name of a newborn Prince William was announced in 1982, and there was a wait of a month following the Prince Charles's birth in 1948.

All births in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, regardless of parentage, must be registered within 42 days at the hospital or a local register office.
