This is where you can talk about every subject (previously it was called shout room)

15 November

Winter is HERE we are told that we might even have snow next Wednesday or Thursday

I have got to find my fluffy slippers :D and then make sure that there are no spiders living inside them :ymsick:

The people in England are already doing their Christmas shopping - me - I much prefer the frantic last minute dash round the shops :o)

I posted to articles on the same day:

Kurdish women imprisoned for infidelity
received 22 views

Question: Are Kurdish men imprisoned for infidelity?
received 50 views

Conclusion:
Twice as many viewers are interested in what happens to men than women - and sadly nobody answered my question X(

18 November

I spent my afternoon with 2 Kurdish friends - both of whom only spoke Kurmanci and English

My Kurdish friend from Turkey said that he left Turkey because he was not Turkish and did not want to bring his children up as Turks - he has REFUSED to speak Turkish ever since - such a shame that more Kurds from Turkish occupied Kurdistan are not the same

Sometimes my Kurdish friends bring their Kurdish friends to my home to show them my lovely map - I have been trying to find a copy on-line but no luck

First snow falls affect high roads in Wales

Image

The A4212 was partly blocked between Bala and Trawsfynydd in Gwynedd after four vehicles were abandoned in places.

Motorists in Denbighshire and Conwy reported snow lying on the road and hazardous conditions on the A5 between Corwen and Pentrefoelas.

In Rhondda Cynon Taf, the Rhigos mountain road was closed for a while between Hirwaun and Treherbert.

South Wales Police said there had been a number of accidents during the morning rush hour.

Elsewhere, snow and ice have been causing problems for commuters in the north east of Scotland and Northern Isles, with several accidents reported.

50% of Kurds are female - they deserve equal rights to those of men - Kurdistan has many thousands of foreign companies investing in it - which means many thousands of foreign works representing those companies are now living and working within Kurdistan - do they intend to be more liberal in their dealings with non-Kurdish females - will Kurdish females have less rights than outsiders within their own country?

Someone has to stand up for the rights of Kurdish women within their own country - go for it :ymapplause:

Have you ever thought that if Kurdish women started their own political party they would receive 50% of the votes - because unlike Kurdish male politicians - Kurdish women are much more likely to UNITE :ymparty:

21 November

We did not have any snow :((

I was looking forward to walking in the fields through the thick snow and building snowmen - now it has warmed up to freezing with no sign of anything interesting happening [-(

I think that the weather here is going to be hovering around freezing for the next 4 or 5 months - my lovely freckles are fading fast :o)

Who knows I might even go to Kurdistan in the new year :D
