Breton, (I understand)
French,
English,
German,
Turkish
between 10 and 20 words of Kurmanci,
same in farsi!

Would like to learn: Kurmanci and Farsi. Should know: Italian and Spanish, real easy when you are a french speaker!

Patience? No need for "patience" - just learn as you go...

I learnt some Russian through Russian friends - some Albanian through Albanian friends - some Spanish through Spanish friends... ETC... Just learn as you go - try to write down a couple of words per month... And learn them!

Big problem to do that in Turkey with Kurmanci...usually they don't have any idea how Kurmanci is supposed to be written...

Don't be silly... You don't need to learn how to write a language - just to speak it... After all - how many times do you think you will write in Arabic in your entire life span?

By the way - please don't differentiate between Kurmancî and Soranî -call them BOTH Kurdish!

I know you "don't wanna learn Soranî" but that is non of my buisness - I just don't want people to be careless about a sensitive issue among Kurds...

Yeah but Sorani speaking in Suleymanye did not understand anything when I was speaking kurmanci (Kurmanci speaking did, though, so not my fault)

There is a difference between turkmen and turk, they are from the same close family but not the same dialect of a same language that's all...Kurds won't be divided if they speak different dialects!

Yes - call it DIALECTS - but don't say "I wanna learn Kurmancî" - that is VERY insensitive... Because Kurmancî is KURDISH - and so is Soranî - therefore USE "Kurdish"...

Not my fault that your Kurdish probably sucks because you have a bad accent...

as I told you my accent was good enough for KURMANCI speaker to understand it! Man in Suleymanye they didn't even understand "av" for water. What can I do! Anyway Kurmanci and Sorani are two separate languages in INALCO in france (Instute of oriental languages..)

Tom if you talk to a Sorani speaker, change all your "v" by "w" it would be better...

No... And I think you are trying to be funny - but since that was a very lame joke - I am not laughing...

In Kurdish we usualy say "Ax" or "Of" or just plain "aaaaaaaaaaa" would do...

Soranî is a little bit lighter... Kind of "posh" - well - not that I think that it is - just that they tend to speak very softly - except for in Koye... So I hear...
