I lost a tree

Everywhere flooded - roads flooded - homes flooded - shops flooded - no buses - no trains - many roads closed - 100s of fallen trees - roads unstable with potholes forming and landslides

The good news is I still have power and plenty of FOOD

Re Scottish Referendum: no need to worry about that Scotland looks as though it is going to be blown away in the wind



I can laugh now that the storm has moved further north - I was NOT laughing last night/this morning when I though my windows would be blown in - or my roof blown off - my poor tree

The enormous Oak tree is still standing - my neighbours and I spent most of the night watching it - wondering which way it would fall - glad there were no leaves left on it otherwise it would not have lasted the night

Had lovely dinner now home - roads too bad - trees still falling - flooding everywhere - so decided to return to Mah Jong

Ate far too much - probably do the same tomorrow

Spoke to a lot of people - forgot to speak to a lot of people - did not go and stay with my friends due to weather and travel problems

Played with region 1 DVDs

I have 2 trees down - one tree became uprooted and fell onto another tree - the second tree has snapped off at the base - now to see into my neighbours houses - I suppose it saving having to get them pruned

No I am not wading through the mud to take a photo

Violent Storm Force 11 is heading our way - the gales are due to return after midnight - the ground is too wet to cope with any more rain - there is still a lot of surface water - the fields have become bogs - dogs LOVE mud

Very wet and windy night - it has stopped raining but still VERY windy - lots more trees down

Just found this beautiful photo and had to share it



Far too much death and destruction in the world - I often wonder if we humans deserve such a beautiful planet



I think that I prefer the 10 Commandments of the Native Americans to those of the crazy Christians - many of whom believe the world is ONLY 4,000 YEARS OLD Or the Islamic jihadists who think they can murder their way into heaven

I have news for the lot of them - if anyone believes that there is a creator - killing human beings and destroying this beautiful planet he/she has created is most definitely NOT the way to heaven - you are going to a much warmer place

I looked at our website again today - I no longer do any work on it - one day it will just cease to be

My heart is not in it now my dear friend is dead

My friend died fighting for a FREE KURDISTAN for his children - his children's children and all the generations of PROUD KURDS as yet unborn - nobody should seek to deny that FREEDOM which so many brave people have given their lives for

I have lost several friends

The new year is nearly upon us and I still have not scored 65,000

After all those HOURS the only thing I have gained is a pain in my right hand

Where are the KURDS - the only person to come anywhere close to Piling and my scores was a TURK
