If you had the chance what would YOU say to the PKK?

I am absolutely positive that someone within the upper echelons of the PKK knows about this forum - after all Roj Bash Kurdistan has been around for

11 YEARS :ymparty:

I believe the PKK should teach the people more about Kurdish history and less about Marxism :D

I further believe that the PKK should disassociate itself from Marxist and loony left wing groups and associate itself with other indigenous minority groups who seek recognition, greater rights and independence :ymhug:

PLEASE ADD ANYTHING YOU WISH

It is better for PKK to stick to its existing ideology, if it is Marxism or what ever it is. It is this ideology keeps PKK alive and united. If this ideology is corrupted most pKK members will leave to become refugees on the hope of finding the land of honey and milk in other countries.

Fortunately it is already turning against Marxism :ymapplause:

It is no longer running smoothly - there has been a lot of internal conflict in recent years

Instead of using it's own experienced people and pushing forward politically - it relied on the HDP :shock: /:) 8-}

The PKK is no longer as strong as it once was

At the time of Ocalan's arrest there were 60,000 armed freedom fighters

I believe there are considerably less now

Does anyone know how many fighters the PKK currently has in Syria, Turkey and Kandil?

The PKK and Kurds in general should align themselves with other Stateless Nations such as:

Afrikaners 3,500,000 people who demand autonomy or total secession from South Africa.

Australian Aborigines sadly only about 680,000 people left and they demand more rights

Māori people sadly only about 750,000 people left and they demand more rights (they receive better treatment than the Australian Aborigines)

Catalan people 8,500,000 people who demand Independence

Baloch people 10,000,000 people who demand Independence

Basque people 3,000,000 people who demand Independence

Kashmiri people (my personal favorite) 5,600,000 people forcibly divided between India and Pakistan, these people would be an ideal nation for the PKK and a United Kurdish Nation to align themselves with :ymparty:

There are many other such nations but those mentioned above are the most well known

Let us not forget the Native Americans - an advert for stronger border controls if ever there was one :ymdevil:

We may sympathise with these people but we can not ally ourselves with them. that is how the rules of survival works. We can not afford to make many big countries our enemies.

The loony left wing and Marxist groups that the PKK has foolishly aliened itself with - has made it somewhat of a laughing stock and deterred many more mainline groups from supporting it

Worse than that - many Kurdish intellectuals and businesspeople do not support the PKK due to it's left-wing Marxist ideology

The good news is that in the UK Kurds have representation within the Nations Without a States pressure group :ymapplause:

I wish to further enforce my desire for Kurds to align themselves with - and do their utmost to support Kashmir :ymapplause:

World media never says anything against the people of Kashmir and always points out that there country was divided without the consent of the people::

The region has been divided between India and Pakistan since the end of British rule in 1947 - but both claim the Himalayan territory in full.

HUGE MISTAKE

Kurds desperately need the support of other, more highly respected, nations 8-}

Kurds inside Turkey do not exactly have a great deal of support from other countries

They NEVER have had - which is why Turkey has spent so many years torturing and killing them

The recent attacks in West and Central Turkey have lost Kurds almost all the international support they ever had - not that they had very much in the first place - things are not looking good for the Kurds

How many countries have dashed in to support the Kurds in eastern Turkey from Turkish oppression and attacks NONE

If anyone has any suggestions as to what the PKK should do now might be a good time to share :D

They should do better. A bunch of Nomads, ISIS, appeared on the scene just yesterday. But they have made themselves almost self-sufficient of armaments. Even they made weapons of mass destruction, gaz. After 40 years of fight, PKK has not bothered to think to make even a bullet.

It is time for PKK to go high tech in the defence of people. There are thousands of simple cheap technologies around, which PKK can use effectively.

At the time of Ocalan's arrest the PKK had over 60,000 freedom fighters - and they were exactly that - Kurds fighting for the FREEDOM of the KURDISH nation

They also had a worldwide support network and - in many countries - access to politicians

In the past 30 PLUS years I have had Kurdish friends from all walks of life, including such notables as the highly respected Ismet Chérif Vanly (who sadly passed away 5 years ago), Mizgin and others of her ilk and Kurds in Kebab shops and barber shops

I have listened to countless stories of the horrors Kurds had undergone throughout the entire Middle East - admittedly the horrors from Turkey rate as second only to the horrendous Anfal campaign - the tortures and slaughter of thousands of innocent Kurds - the destruction of Kurdish homes and villages - the burning of Kurdish lands and forests - the pointless killing of livestock

I have NEVER met a Kurd who does not want an INDEPENDENT KURDISTAN

There are MILLIONS of Kurds living in Turkey - many living in poverty in Western Turkey - many more living under ever increasing Turkish military suppression in the Kurdish homeland of Eastern Turkey

I firmly believe that if the PKK were to consolidate all it's different factions and call the Kurdish people to join them in none violet weekly protests - demanding an Independent North Kurdistan - they would regain the support they have been losing ever since certain Kurds tried to turn the PKK into a Turk loving group

You have the vast numbers - you do not need weapons - you have more Kurds in Turkey than the populations of many independent countries

The PKK needs to regain it's enthusiasm - teach the people Kurdish history and gain the respect of the people - and most importantly focus it's intention on an

INDEPENDENT KURDISTAN

I would like to remind you all that Turkey is supporting ISIS and fast becoming a Sunni Islamic State in it's own right - with Erdogan as GOD - a state in which Kurds will not be welcome
