Yes Assyrians are like 99% Christians i heard about some muslim Assyrians but never saw or read something about them.
Assyrians talk an akkadian influenced Aramic.
We have two dialekts east and west.
East is mostly spoken by Assyrians of Khabur Area(only those who fleed to it after the simele massacre in 1933), Iraq and Iran and some parts of Turkey(in the area of hakkari) and the West one is spoken in Syria(North east syria) and Turkey msotly the Tur Abdin Area.

Which party?? Why should we kill them? Its not their fault if they have been islamizied. They are still Assyrians also if Assyrians are hardcore Christians a Assyrian is an Assyrians.
I just also heard that there is a Hotel in istanbul or Ankara which is called Assur or so and the holder of the hotel are muslim Assyrians but like i said that i just heard.

What is funny is that in the Bible, Assyrians are the bad guys... almost as so bad as Babylonians... All the dark reputation Assyrians have come from the Bible (and of their carved stones -scenes of wars)So being pride of Assyrian empire and being a Christian should be a challenge...
