okie .. is ur name rumtaya?? how do u pronounce that??

Lool no my name isnt Rumtay Rumtaya means man from Rumta. Rumta was a part of the Tyari Province in Hakkari :) .

My real Name is Ninos

What is funny is that in the Bible, Assyrians are the bad guys... almost as so bad as Babylonians... All the dark reputation Assyrians have come from the Bible (and of their carved stones -scenes of wars)So being pride of Assyrian empire and being a Christian should be a challenge...

Yeap thats funny well you know the bibel is written by the Jews so i think there is also some propaganda against Assyrians  but i dont want to deny that my forfathers had been bad people they were. But like you see we have changed and are Christians.

But i am Proud on my Assyrian roots and of our big history i think also if the old Assyrians have been very bad still they did allot for the human by devloping many things. And the first Military Nation was formed by Assyrians hehehe.

it dont really have a meaning but here how that name is conectet with the Assyrian History.

in Greek mythology, king of Assyria and the eponymous founder of the city of Nineveh, which itself is sometimes called Ninus. He was said to have been the son of Belos, or Bel, and to have conquered in 17 years all of western Asia with the help of Ariaeus, king of Arabia. During the siege of Bactra he met Semiramis, the wife of one of his officers, Onnes; he then took her from Onnes

I found ! Nin in sumerian means : Lord.

Like the Sumerian god Ningirsu : The Lord of Girsu (a city) or Ninurta : The Lord of Earth (Urta).

So it could have probably a link with this ethymology.
