how do you say...finished in kurmanci??

Bahdinis(Kurmanjis) and Sorans in Iraq say Khalase. Bahdinis in Syria also say the same, but i dont know about Turkey, And Iranian Kurds.

Mosul, kake gyan... You aren't getting it... The point here is: We all know that ALL Kurds use "Khalas" - but it is ARABIC... We are looking for Kurdish words for the same... 'Key?

And by the way - "Tewa bû" also is another way... :) I think they use it a lot in Soranî? :)

Tewaw bû but it comes from temam, which comes from Arabic, tem'an

lol see diri, our languages has many foriegn words, get over it, there is nothing wrong with that. Do you know that Spanish has a significant amount of arabic in it to?

Man... I know very well that there are foreign words on Kurdish MOUTHS... But in the Kurdish language - there are few foreign words - if you speak proper Kurdish... Which means you say "shash" instead of "xelet" and "Roj/Êwar/Shev bash" instead of "Salam wa alaikum"... :wink:

yes he is a robot, I delete dozen of them every week , if you look other forums may have 500 users, but most of them are these kind of robots..
if you had looked into profile of that person, you would see link to Drug sites.

in kurmanci dialect we say ''qediya '' for finished

for example ''min şiva xwe qedand'' ı finished to eat:)
