Thanks for the laugh...
But you know - Kurds don't like Death Metal... But I do know one who's based in the US who enjoys metal... Or aucustic rock...
so you say Barish isn't Kurd, because he likes death metal? Please I know plenty of Persians who like death and black metal, if they like it, so can Kurds!
No - I'm basically saying two things:
1) Ulaabaator is the capital of Mongolia, so no, he is not Kurdish...
2) Kurds generally don't listen to that type of music, but I didn't say NO Kurd likes metal - I even said I know one guy who likes it heavy...
By the way - Persians are not Kurds - there is a lot of difference between our two people - and one of the differences is that Persians don't have as strong a sense of cultural belonging, as the Kurds do... This is evident even in Iran, where Persians aren't even real Persians (the ones living in Yazd, Fars, Kerman etc. other provinces with "original Persians") - but many other ethnicities have assimilated into what is known as the "Persians"... Especially a lot of Azeris often consider themselves "Persians" - because it's often viewed as of higher social status in Iran... Just like everybody outside of Iran says "I am from Tehran" - because that too means you of higher social status - since Tehran is a large metropol and the capital of Iran... Now I'm not saying Kurds can't like Metal - just that there are some very fundamental differences between Kurdish and Persian culture...
