He doesn't speak it, because he never learnt it as a child - and only later learned SOME... He's not interested in Kurdish language or culture - he doesn't care about that... If he did, he wouldn't continue his stupid rhetoric.

He is working for the Deep State, not for Kurds... He stabbed Kurds in the back when he was captured in 1999! And I no longer hold him in respect... Nor do I support the PKK's acts - or their vision to transform the Middle East into a Socialist Confederation of villages...

Nope... Not "majority"... Like I said: SOME...

They have national sympathy, yes - but not support... Most Kurds support any Kurdish movement - just because they "fight for independence" - not because they necessarily understand or agree with the policies of these movements...

Do you understand what I'm saying?

For example: Most Turks will support the Turkish Army - not because of what it DOES (because it does a lot of bad things too which the people supporting them don't agree with) BUT because of what it STANDS for: "Turkish unity"...

If we would like to asimilate any race who lived in our land we would be able to do it more efectively. Belive me asimilation something we have faced against to world most powerful and claimed as modern countries not more then 80 years ago.

If you call a goverment operations against to a terorist organization which has its ivolvment from drugs to prostution, smuggling to extortion, mass murder to booty as assimilation I think you are mistaken.

You cant expect someone to make sence to if you defend a terrorist oganization which has killed 30000 people. Would you make sence if you speak with Hittler?

I really would like to know where are you from?

And about to topic. If he would he could have speak any language he wanted to. You have right to have a translator with you in Turkish courts during your trial. He was finding Turkish more conforting I guess. Most of my Kurdish friends finding it conforting to.

Please pick up an unbiased book and read... Then you will see what "assimilation policies of Turkey" means.

As for bringing translators: no that was not legal untill recently... Kurdish was not allowed or recognized as a language before 1991 - and then only on paper and only in private homes... Let alone in court!!!

You might be right about it but I think Apo has been cought 1999 (If I don't remmeber correctly please correct me) so he could get one easly. And courts and any other goverment branch are different. In courts you have right to defend yourself. I am sure if he would he could do it. However I think whatever he wrote in his cell is mostly Turkish as well.
