Have you any sources about that?

Every Peshmerga was married and if a father die, his son fight for him. And if the KDP and PUK would ban the marriage for Peshmerga fighters in the past, the Kurdish population in south Kurdistan would be much less today, because there are more than 100.000 Peshmerga fighters and many of them would die without having a family.

Its just funny how you try to justify the death penalty for marriage in the PKK.

You cant compare the Peshmerga with PKK because most PKK members die at least after a couple years. They cant went down to their homes (fully isolated) while the Peshmergas had a family live.

Its true that man still bake bread but food is also made by woman at least since Karayilan is on power.

Here a video about a swiss Guy in the PKK. You can see it at 4:40

Look my Feminist friend, its sweet that you are for women rights, I am also for women rights, I am only against feminism. And it is also sweet that you show me a video where a women in the PKK cooks as a source, because I never say that they are not allow to cook, also not under Öcalan.

Feminists just use the argument "women rights" to create their own "woman". They want that a women can have 100 boyfriends, and they want to do everythink what a man do. Even if they are not suitable for this job. They are also against a traditional familiy.

Also the Peshmerga and other armies have women fighters, but there the womens are only 3 or 5% of the fighters. But in the PKK the womens are 50% of the fighters. It is against our tradition to let the womens fight.

A Kurdish movement like the Peshmerga with a normal ideology, which is focused more on Kurdistan, would have much more support in north Kurdistan as the Communist and Feminist PKK have now. Öcalan create but also ruined the movement in north Kurdistan with his ideology.

watch you tongue boy and think a second before you bring such nonsense comments. I thought it was from the statements I made on the "Miss Kurdistan" thread already clear that I am not a pro feminist.

lol...the people saying women shouldn't fight blah blah blah, are you fighting in defense of kurdistan right now? if you haven't actually participated in gerilla warfare then you don't have the experience needed to know who will and won't survive on a battlefield.

anyways. i'm suspicious of why this video and accompanying article was shot/written for vice magazine. i can't imagine pjak would do agree to it unless it somehow benefited them in some way. thoughts?

To whomever thinks women should not fight: that is their decision, not yours.
Also, you fail to understand the true meaning of the term feminism; it's simply the movement that strives for equal rights for men and women. That's all, everything else that's said to be connected to the term depends on a person's interpretation and his/her views on the matter.

fem·i·nism   [fem-uh-niz-uhm]
noun
1.
the doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men.
2.
( sometimes initial capital letter ) an organized movement for the attainment of such rights for women.
3.
feminine character.

Just like in other political/sociological movements, there exist extreme branches and followers; but they do not define what the movement really is.
Furthermore, if you disagree with those views, I'm afraid you're hopelessly old-fashioned, because feminism (in its strict meaning) is simply inevitable in a developing society. Because, what woman would not want equal rights?

Yes its our decision and the majority of the Kurds are not leftist femenists. And men and women are not 100% equal.

2-3% women fighters in a army is okey, but not 40-60% like the PKK have. Like they say it in the Video, the PKK camps looks more like girl camps and not like military camps.

You and your femenisim, go to Ukraine with that, why do you want to mix this prostitutions ideology with our freedom fight.

You are a arab who just want to provoke. You know that the leftist feminist politic from the PKK and BDP is bad for the kurdish freedom movement, thats why you support that.
