Baghdad- A Iraqi Defense Ministry source said the F- 16 jets that Baghdad is going to receive from Washington are repaired warplanes and worth too little of what Iraq has paid for.
Citing the source, who declined to be named, Al- Mustagbul Iraqi daily said the warplanes worth too little the money has been paid for them.
He said Iraqi experts have found out the jets are too dangerous to fly.
The Source further added Iraq could have bought the same warplane from china and France with just one third of the money it has paid the US “but Washington has already signed a strategic deal with Baghdad to sell it $ 12 million of weapons and ammunitions
