i dont think iran can invade us without a harsh response from the international community,especally israel.
Israel and US will maybe use that as a "launcing pad" (a good reason) to attack iran,like they did with kuwait against iraq in 1991.
Iran will be seen as a agressor,thus making it hard for Russia and China to do anything to help iran+ it will make it look like what israel and US always have wanted it too look like,like "iran is a threat to world peace".

How do you come up with this? Didnt you follow all recent events. Turkey is building a Pipeline which bypasses Baghdad controlled area. This means they are in one word almost supporting a free Kurdistan. Also some Ministers of Turkey gave clear message that they wouldnt care if Kurdistan declared Independence. And dont forget the influence KRG can play due to economic ties with other countries. Iran might think about invading Kurdistan but they cant because US and the West will do shit and let Iran control even the Kurdish oil reserves while they already have Maliki under their control.

I couldnt explain it better. However I think that the Kurdish oil reserves, the big Oil companies will play a major role in this too. US will do shit and let Kurdistan oil come under Irans control. I mean seriously do you think US will watch how Iran tries to control an oil rich region. This was one of the main reasons they got active when Kuwait was attacked by Saddam.
