. I think he is from Bakozê village west of Zakho, from the Gulî tribe.
Btw., does anyone know if someone or some organisation is recording all these folklore songs?

It would be VERY sad uf even more Kurdish culture is lost.
PLEASE do you know if Zakho is the town where most of the people died from hunger and disease about 60 years ago?

Yeah it is written Bakozî and my fingers slipped. Do u know anything about Gulî tribe ?
I don't know who recorded that. Perhaps a TV.

I knew ur fingers had slipped
.I don't know much about them, beside they live alongside Sindî tribe west and north west to Zakho, and concentrated mainly in the town of Batîf. They speak very similar to Sindî kurds and they speak Kurmanji (Behdinî). The biggest peachs I have seen ever, which were even bigger than apples, I have seen and tasted from their gardens. Please, if you know more, tell us.
