You know.. bandwidth attack.. How can you stop things like this?

very good mentioning Vladimir !

KBU news is ALSO under Bandwith attack, bandwith attack is like this :

they make porn and dirty sites and they link to your site in their dirty site and then they use automatic script to LOAD your page as much as it can ...

by this job they do 2 things :

1- they recored themself in your statistic page so you may click on them and visit them -and get their virus-

2- so they use your hosting's bandwith limit so your site be down.

you can stop these attacks by blocking their IP.

you know several Domain names can have THE SAME IP,. means a spammer can have more than 60 domain names with ONE HOSTING.

you should find their hosting's IP and ban it ...so when they try to use your bandwith they face a "BLOCKED Message"

we do this to enemies in KBU news
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then YOU WIN !

   hahahahah before the internet cafes in Kurdistan were very very slow you had to order a pizza before a page would open..but now in Suleimani there is something called Medya Telecom, it is something unique...
You get a very fast wireless internet (anywhere you want in Suleimani) and phone...

You don't need a mobile phone, because your home phone number is also wireless...so you can actually take your normal phone (home phone) to anywhere you want in Suleimani..
and take your lap top to anywhere you want and have internet access if you are a member of Medya Telecom : )

This is not an advertisement for Medya Telecom lol

yes that is true
we had that in silemany. its very good

Tomjez, you have reminded me of sickly hot afternoons in the internet cafes in Diyarbakir and Bismil, where all you want to do is write an email to your family, but the guy next to you is downloading some huge porn movie and it is slowing down the entire system. The absolute worst time was in a internet cafe in Bismil. I was there with some male friends that I was working with, but the only girl in the cafe. Across from me a bunch of young boys were watching a movie, they turned up the sound so that I could hear the moaning and were pointing at me. I was mortified! They did it because I was female and American...it didn't matter to them that I was wearing hijab.

After that, I went with a large group of females and only went to the cafes in the bigger cities like Diyarbakir.

Internet is faster in Turkey.. because Turkish goverment do more investment there.. but the rest is the same in Turkey..

Very irritating when electrics shut down
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.
