11 July

Throughout history MILLIONS of brave people have fought and died trying to protect their traditional homelands from foreign invaders

If Kurds do not unite - finally and forever - they will lose the land that is rightfully theirs

In 100 years from now Kurds will be the same as the Native Americans

unloved and unwanted and almost

EXTINCT

Having ceased to exist - gone and forgotten

As Kurds allow their culture and heritage in such places as HASANKEYF to be destroyed - so to are Kurds themselves destroying the future of the Kurdish people :((

That will never happen. The opposite is actually happening, turkish and iranian birthrates are decreasing and kurdish birthrates remain the same.

What good will even an up-serge in the Kurdish birth-rate be in Turkey - where most Kurds think and behave the same as TURKS :ymsick:

Why cannot Kurds have a similar web site to that of Indians:

Image

This site celebrates everything Indian :ymapplause:

The Beauty and Elegance of Pow Wow:

From June 14-16, the Lower Sioux Indian Community held their 36th annual wacipi, and Oglala Lakota photographer Francesca Wiyaka Luta was there. She says, "This was my first year to the Lower Sioux Wacipi. This three-day pow wow is located in Morton, Minnesota. There was 793 registered dancers and 33 drum groups. People came from Wisconsin, South Dakota and all over Minnesota. Very friendly atmosphere and comfortable camping areas. I will be sure to go again next year!"

12 July

I asked the question:
Will somebody PLEASE tell me what interesting and exciting things
Kurds are doing to keep their culture alive

Unfortunately nobody has answered me yet - but I am still feeling moderately optimistic :-w

It was another lovely warm day in South England - promises to be even warmer over the next few days :D

13 July

The weather has been a lovely 32c :D

Sadly, I do not go brown - if I sit in the sun I go freckly - I hate my freckles :ymsick:

Quick change of subject: Kurds

Kurdish men to be exact

In England there is a great deal of difference between the way Kurdish males from Turkey behave - and Kurdish males from other Kurdish regions behave :-?

Often Kurdish men from Turkey behave shamefully - the same as Turks - many NK men treat English as though they are all prostitutes - while pretending to their relations that they are saving themselves for marriage - they will have sex with several English women - but will not marry an English woman - because they claim that English women are, as I have said, all prostitutes - what does that make the Kurdish men ?

Many NK men do not want to marry Kurdish women/girls who have been educated in England because they are to liberated - they prefer to marry a village girl who cannot speak English - then leave her at home with the many children while - you probably guessed already - while they, the Kurdish men, go to clubs and have sex with English women X(

Kurdish ladies are so used to living completely separate lives to their men - it would not even occur to them that their husbands would do such a thing - mostly the men are visiting each other or sitting in gambling dens - Kurdish women do not go into these places - they just assume their husbands are their - Kurdish women would never ask her husband where he has been - they are just there to look after the children - keep the home clean - make food for their husbands whatever time - day or night - he bothers to return home - some women stay fully awake and clothed for hours at night - just so that they will be ready to serve their husbands when they return X(
